I have Adsense on my website and am seeing very little return for the space that it takes up on my site. And it's not that I don't have decent ranking for my keywords either, because I am doing well with a lot of them. I think you may be on to something when saying that less people are clicking on the Adsense. That's not to say people aren't making money with it. I'm sure people are still making money with Adsense. However, I think a lot of people that promote Adsense products may be using hyperbole when talking about the gains that can be made with it. A few years ago people did very well with it.
