Danny, a day or two without power and internet access can be rough when it happens infrequently. Last year, we went several months without power, internet, or potable water (just my trusty honda generator and a well full of metal-rich water). We handled it pretty well because we kept focused on the end---a finished house, connected to the grid.

Now when the power or dsl goes out (and it does fairly often), we just shrug it off. Even a week without power would be a fairly minor inconvenience.

Thanks for the mention! My wife's definitely had some luck following the Chinese market, as well - certainly looks more stable than the US at this point, doesn't it?
