I hope everyone had a wonderful thanksgiving. Thanksgiving is perhaps my favorite holiday. Maybe its because I love food so much and love excuses to pig out while hanging out with family and friends. I love this time of year. I had a relatively small dinner with my immediate family, we had turkey and the whole nine yards. I’m still trying to finish the leftovers. I was going to attempt to make my own turkey like Thursday’s home cooked turkey, but I didn’t want to risk everyone hating me, so my parent’s and I opted to order a turkey from a local restaurant. It was $38 but it was delicious. When my girlfriend and I buy our house next year, we’ll give home-cooked a shot.Anyway, another great thanksgiving came and went. Here are some awesome articles from other sites:

Twelve Important Things to Talk About When Your Relationship Gets Serious. This is a great article by Trent. I don’t think most couples realize the importance of discussing certain topics before marriage. Even if your spouse isn’t a personal finance addict, you must make sure you’re both on the same page about these things. Money issues are responsible for many divorces in the US.

Cash flow - Why is it Important? I really like Steve’s articles and his site. This is another good one about the importance of cash flow. It goes hand in hand with my article about investing vs. speculation. Even if you have reason to believe that there will be a capital gain, get yourself some insurance by only investing in positive cash flow properties. After all, on residential property, you can’t control whether or not it appreciates.

How to Live Within Your Budget. Great article by Tina that features practical and simple tips to stay within your budget this holiday season. This is perhaps the most costly time of the year and it puts a lot of people in debt. Its important not to get carried away.

Q & A with Millionaire Mommy Next Door. Steve presents a great Q & A session with a real life Millionaire Mommy from Millionaire Mommy Next Door. Its always great to hear stories and advice from experienced and successful entrepreneurs and people in general. I really enjoyed this one, and I think the part about teaching your children is very insightful.
