I got back from Houston/Sugar Land, TX at the beginning of the week. For those who don’t know, I was home searching because I’m leaving San Francisco to build wealth. We did not end up making an offer on a house because we spent most of our time checking out homes in many different areas of Sugar Land, TX. My girlfriend and I finally decided we wanted to live in a particular neighborhood called New Territory, which is a beautiful master planned community with great schools, amenities, lakes, parks and nice people. Unfortunately the homes there are in high demand so we have less to choose from and more competition. The only house we liked in the area was listed at $199,000 and it sold before we had a chance to low-ball it (boo!). Now we’re constantly monitoring the market for any new listings in the area.

Ever since I got back from the trip, things have sort of been in limbo. In addition to realizing I’m really moving my whole life to another state and that I’m really out of college, I’ve been busy with family as well. During the past few days I attended Chinese new year festivities with family and will continue to do so for the next few days. Basically I haven’t done much work with my online businesses ever since I got back. I’m dedicating the coming week to settling back down and truly focusing. You can expect great new articles, a revised site layout with category pages with a list of popular articles in each, and much more.
